Comment:At the risk of bragging I must say Allah has blessed me with an ideal husband- soft-spoken, selfless and helpful. He used to change the diapers and feed the babies while I worked and do 90% of the housework- not half- while working and studying. Now he complains he is tired and rightly so, so I take care of the housework and kids most of the time and make sure he has something to eat when he arrives home.
We have a precious Kodak moment of our little daughter holding up her head at 2 weeks to gaze up at her daddy. Even now at 5 she is "aashiqat baba"- daddy's little girl.
I only wish all Muslim women could have such an ideal husband. He has his faults like any human being of any faith or nationality, but I praise Allah every day and am happy to have read an article that spells things out.
