Comment:The quotes you have on the fasting page are informative BUT they are missing key words which completely change the meaning of them. e.g the one about one who opens the fast of others. The word WITHOUT should be present between siyam and diminishing. " Zaid ibn Khalid Juhni related that the Prophet said: He who provides for the breaking of the Siyam of another person earns the same merit as the one who was observing Siyam diminishing in any way the reward of the latter (Tirmidhi). There are others like that too.
