That is a very good article if I do say so myself. I always wanted to write a book, but never had the time or the chance. I mean, Canada can be a very busy country. But if you could tell me where I could send my writing, it would be great.
Thank you for that good article. Jazakallah khair!

I agree with the statements above..Me myself as a revert have had problems with
avoiding the t.v.
Growing up on it has warped my mind. And as a young teenager myself,i feel
there is to much to do then sitting and wasteing time.. We should be
remembering Allah (swt) as much as we can...And watching a t.v show's takes us
away ..and might have an effect on our Eman......May Allah help us see the
right path..Ameen

Comment:I do not agree with a few of the points in this article. I believe that the internet is worst than watching TV. Would you rather let your kids free on the internet where you cannot control what they are looking at? Atleast you can control what programs they watch. You can also put your kids in extra curricular activities, sports, etc,. Play games with them. Have a family game night but getting rid of the TV and exposing your kids to the internet is a horrible idea. Take them to religious ceremonies, masjids and spend time with them.
