Comment:Can I give zakaat to my sister. Her husband passed away and she 6 small children all under the age of 15. She lives with her in laws and with help from her brother in law. They manage to provide her with basic necessities for herself and the children. May al lah reward them.

Comment:Salam, i have question about zakat. i have jeweleries(J), the amount of J that i have i have to give zakat.i have been giving zakat for past 2 years. this year i have some financial issue . I am a student and no earning. also i am taking loan to finish of my studies . and the J , i hardly use them and cannot sell them for particular reason. so please tell me what should i do? do i pay de zakat or not thank you :-)
