Positive Results of Offering Halal Items at McDonald's
- The Singapore record of 19% increase in sales after offering Halal menu
is beaten by three fold increase in the US when at two Michigan McDonald's
restaurants offered Halal items.
- In Dearborn, MI, at the Michigan Avenue restaurant (14860 Michigan Avenue),
McNugget sales are expected to double the restaurant chain's average as
65 percent of the orders are for the Halal version.
- The Halal product is so successful that McDonald’s expanded the
offering to its location at 13158 Ford Road; all of this without spending
a penny on advertising the Halal product, but by mere word of mouth.
- Other groups are also highly likely to respond positively to McDonald's
offerings.
