AuthorBio: Dr. Hasanuzzamanis a Pakistani scholar who was educated at the universities of Agra, Karachi, and Edinburgh (UK). He has throughout been engaged in research on different aspects of Islamic Economics Division in the State Bank of Pakistan. He was a member of the Panel of Economists and Bankers set up to make recommendations for implementation of Zakat and elimination of interest in Pakistan. He was also a member of the Council of Islamic Ideology. Dr. Zaman has written a number of research pepers on different aspects of Islamic Economics.
