Unity is magnificent and attractive, but it has circumstances that cannot be forced. Traditionally, Muslim leaders have worked to develop unity. Yet it has become more and more evident that one of the greatest threats to unity is not only the divergence created by differences between denominations but also the divergence found within denominations.
How we come together and bridge the divergence is the theme of this book. It is our intent to find the balance in the hope that all Muslims will lay aside their fears and desires for the betterment of the Muslim Community. The challenge is to regain this unity in light of the complexity of issues causing problems in the Muslim World.
