ACTION: Call the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which is blocking urgent action to save lives.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is lobbying the U.S. government to block urgent production of critical supplies and equipment to save lives in the fight against COVID-19.

While America’s hospitals are desperate for critical supplies and equipment to save lives in the fight against COVID-19, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is lobbying the Trump Administration against the use of the Defense Production Act (DPA). We need all hands on deck to meet this crisis.

Please call on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and all of its local chapters to support using the DPA to increase the production of personal protective equipment (PPE), ventilators, and other vital healthcare equipment. Public health advocates, national security experts, and human rights observers demand that the Trump Administration use its authority to meet this challenge head-on and save American lives.

Every hour we don't implement the DPA risks the deaths of our front-line healthcare workers – our (s)heroes in this time of crisis – and thousands of patients. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's position is appalling.
