Single motherhood is becoming a norm. In 2021 the US Census Bureau reported that close to 80 percent of single parent households in the US are headed by single mothers. Statistics aside, single moms have a huge task ahead of them.
Gone are the days when internet use was reserved for specific needs only. We are witnesses to an ever-growing interdependence between gadgets and the use of the internet in our day-to-day lives, sometimes even for our children.
There are various aspects of technology use that are dangerous for children and teens while they are engaged in the problematic behaviors. And there are additional challenges that can have life-long impacts, even after the dangerous behavior has stopped.
