Hajj is an excellent opportunity for Hajj Dua, a time when we are visitors to God’s house, when we are not distracted by our day to day lives. Here are a few suggested Duas we can make during the journey of a lifetime. Along with duas for yourself and the family include the ummah, your neighbors and the humanity. 

Dua is not only for times of distress, but it is also for times of thankfulness This is why it is critical that we pass on the importance and beauty of Dua to the next generation of Muslims.

Here are some examples of personal Duas, relevant Duas you can make throughout the year. Please adopt, modify, and write your own.

Dua is a Muslim's way of asking God for His blessings for himself or herself and for others. There are many prayers that are missing from our collective Duas. I request you to make the following Duas as an expression of our concern for humanity.

"Why don't they make dua (pray ) to Allah for protection," he said. With all the suffering and disasters Muslims are facing in various parts of the world, the question can be directed to all of us today.

We have included some Dua(s) for forgiveness. The Prophet Muhammad said, the one who repents for a sin is like the one who has not committed a sin (al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Majah). Peace and blessings be upon him. You can use the suggested duas at the bottom of this article.

The first ten days of the Islamic month of Zul Hijjah are a special time when all kinds of good deeds are encouraged and highly rewarded. Here are a number of Duas that you can make or use as a model to make your own Duas during these blessed days.
