Domestic violence remains a serious problem in the Muslim community. The weekly Friday Khutba is a powerful platform to address all kinds of issues in the Muslim community.

We, the Imams of the community, would like to request something very critical for our community and our country.

The Masjid is where the action is. Muslims and their resources are connected with Masjids. Rethinking how to use those resources will help the Ummah greatly.

The United States has a system of challenging hate speech through a socio-political process which isolates and shames hatemongers. This is what was done to the KKK. That is how anti-Semitism and racism were ultimately deemed unacceptable in the mainstream media.

Their number is not known with certainty. Perhaps they were only two or  twenty. Regardless, these women approached the man who had thus far, given them hope for this world and beyond.
