Reference of Hijab can be found in multiple places in Quran. Many poeple ask about Quran Hijab Quotes.
Following are important verses of Quran about Hijab in Islam:
"O you Children of Adam! We have bestowed on you raiment to cover your shame as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition.” (Quran 7:26)
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59).

I am 72 years years old I was born in Lahore, Pakistan. I left Pakistan when I was 15 years old I never saw my mother, grandmother unties, or anyone in a big city like Lahore women wearing Hijab.
Hijab has become a joke in the west.
I saw no women wearing hijabs in the UK until 9/11.

Hijab
Quran says men and women to dress modestly to cover their private parts. Specially women to cover their hair and chests. Increasingly important visibility of Muslim women in the west causing some serious confusion. Another problem is our so called scholars interpret Quran according to their individual opinions. Some of them want publicity and some of them wanted to be counted as an expert or scholars in religion. Nowhere in the Quran has the term Hijab which mean a scarf that covers Muslim women’s hair. The semantic and conceptual interpretation of the Quranic term Hijab shows the opposite of what is supposed to be in reality. I have seen Muslim women in America wearing Hijab with T-shirt and jeans pushing baby stroller. I am sure everyone saw similar or even worse. yet I am all for Hijab don’t get me wrong but firstly know the meaning of it and specially what Quran said. Simply put Hijab is a piece of clothing over the head and end of both sides should come down to cover their chests . Learn and know the true meaning of covering the body parts that are private. Lately in some parts of the world Muslim women are wearing scarf matching their saree or other clothings. Some of the Muslim wearing Jewellery over the Hijab made of multi colourful materials. That is actually going against that reason they supposed to wear Hijab for. That is inviting not covering . Instead of that just wearing some form of clothings that cover your body and not showing any skin. That is respectful . Bottom line is just don’t follow another person without knowing the fact. Learn yourself and you will do it from your heart.

What a liar!! There is no word in translation from the Quran about women's head or hair. It says cover the chest!! the body only!

The Quran is saying, take
The Quran is saying, take your "khimar" (head covering) and use it to cover your chest as well. It's like telling someone "tuck in your shirt". It assumes the person is already wearing a shirt. You would not say that to someone not already wearing a shirt.

The 'Hijab' In The Quran
Interesting verses and thank you for preserving them in their purity. It is obvious that what is being spoken about is covering the breasts(bosom) rather than the face. Covering the breasts makes alot of sense since it quite inappropriate for a woman to walk her breasts moving all over the place in public. The verse also mentions that a woman is free to show her bosom(the part she is to cover) to children who have no idea of the shame of sex. Pardon my seeming absolute insolent foolishness but since when did a woman's face become sexual. Moreover, the verses instigate covering the body(drawing rainment closer to themselves) to avoid being molested but if wearing that hijab will cause a woman to be molested why wear it? All in all these verses are perfectly vague as to implicitly wearing a hijab. Let the culture and overarching modesty take the helm rather than some person's biased interpretation. Keep in mind some men are so corrupt that even if woman were covered in totality they would still lust after her. A woman ought to be free to wear a hijab or not to based on her role and overarching culture. Let's be reasonable people.

I agree with you.. And that is why I never wore it too but I just saw the word veil in the second ayat translation, which is said to be stretched to the bosom as well.. Veil is a different type of clothing that hides the face... I guess may be in ancient arab women used to hide their faces and not the bodies... As such..
Anyways... My point is.. If it is there or it isnt, the first ayat quoted by the brother is amazingly beautiful that says that even if you cover yourself, the real cover is being a good person... So if u r doing that and covering your bosom.. I guess you are fulfilling your hijab duties... Even stamping of foot is a clear indication that God is indicative of the lower intentions of these women, who still want to attract a male... In the end, you do hijab or you don't, it all depends on your intention... Rest God knows better...
